The apartment is situated at the first floor, on the East side of the Villa. It overlooks the lemon-house and the fields, which in the past were tilled with vineyards and orchards. The light blu colour of the room is combined with the goldish yellow of the furniture and ceramics.

Buonvisi and Montecatini were very important families of the Lucca Dukedom. They owned all the paper mills of the area. The two families got close for their second time through the wedding of Maria Caterina Buonvisi with Nicolao Montecatini.
